High school students graduating in the Spring of 2026 are eligible to apply for a scholarship from Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Lawrenceburg, IN post. The steps to apply for a scholarship are as follows:
- Download SAL Scholarship Application.
- Enter your personal information and answer all questions to complete the application.
- Save the completed application on your PC.
- Gather any additional documents that you want to include with your application, such as transcripts, your essay, and other documents.
- Attach your completed scholarship application and any additional documents to an email, and send the email to salPost239@gmail.com
You will be contacted by a Sons of the American Legion member after your application is received.
Note: As a SAL Post 239 member with a son/daughter, grandson/granddaughter, great grandson/great granddaughter, or step in any of these categories, and they are graduating from high school in the Spring of 2026, in order for them to qualify for the maximum SAL scholarship available, you, as a SAL Member, must attend at least 3 monthly SAL meetings between May, 2025 and April, 2026.
